i-riide (whose registered office is located at Weststrasse 94, 4900 Langenthal) (Switzerland), in its capacity as data controller, attaches great importance to the protection and respect of your privacy.

2.2.3. We also collect the following information about how you use our platform (such as the number of ads published, your response rate to ads, your registration date, etc.).
2.2.4. Finally, we collect technical information related to the model of your vehicle when you submit your license plate number to facilitate the completion of the form describing your vehicle. This information is collected by querying (the database produced by the auto-index company).
2.3. How long will your information be kept?
2.3.1. Your personal information is archived at the end of the following periods: – 5 years after your last use of our platform, if you have not closed your account. – 1 year after the closure of your account, unless you have received a negative notice or a report, in which case your data will be kept for 2 years following the last negative notice or report received, whichever is longer. 2.3.2. The following categories of personal information are likely to be kept for different periods:
– Financial data (e.g., payments, reimbursements, etc.) are kept for the duration required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
– The data collected when subscribing to insurance products are kept for the duration of the insurance contract and for the time necessary to manage your claims, if necessary. –

3.5 To enable you to communicate and interact with other members of our community who are authorized to publish on i-riide, in particular regarding our services or the trip(s) you made or plan to make; such processing is necessary to fulfill our respective contractual obligations and/or carried out with your consent
3.6 Provide you with access and communication with our member relationship services; this processing is necessary for the performance of our respective contractual obligations. For this action, your consent is carried out; i-riide mandates it as necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
3.7 Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, our terms and conditions of use, and our privacy policy. In the event of any breach by you, we may be led to suspend your account on our platforms; This processing is necessary for the performance of our respective contractual obligations, carried out with your consent and/or necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of a right in court.
3.8 In accordance with applicable law and with your consent where required, to deliver marketing, promotional, advertising messages and content related to the use of our services, booking Terms and Conditions and to suggest goods or services that may be of your interest. Your information may be used as well for advertising reasons (promotional messages on social networking platforms or third-party websites) that might be of your interest. 3.9 To notify you of changes to our services; this processing is necessary for the performance of our respective contractual obligations, the fulfillment of our legal obligations and/or the establishment, exercise, or defense of a legal claim.
3.10 Verify the information in your passport, driver’s license, identity card or, any, other identity document that we may have collected during your registration or use of i-riide. This processing is based on your consent, necessary to comply with our legal obligations and/or to establish, exercise or defend a right in court.
3.11 Manage our platform and perform internal technical operations in the context of problem-solving, data analysis, testing, research, analysis, studies, and surveys; this processing is based on our legitimate interest (ensuring the security of i-riide and improving its features).
3.12 To improve and optimize i-riide, to ensure that the display of our content is suitable for your device; this processing is based on our legitimate interest. Our aim is to provide you with relevant content.
3.13 Allow you to use the interactive features of our services if you wish to do so; this processing is necessary for the performance of our respective contractual obligations and/or carried out with your consent.

4. Who are the recipients of the information we collect and why do we send them this information?
4.1. As part of using our services, some of your information will be shared through your profile with other members of our community who are authorized to post assignments on i-riide.

4.4.2. As part of the booking process, to provide the requested services, we may display on our platform or transmit to another member some of your personal information such as your name, last name, photograph, mobile phone, number or e-mail address.
4.4.3. We publish the notices you write as part of our notice system on our platform. These notices are visible to all visitors to our platform, they include your first name, first letter of your surname and your photograph.

5.1. We may read the messages that you exchange with other members of our community through our platform to prevent fraud, improve our services, provide user support, and verify that our members are complying with our agreements and our Terms of Use. For example, to prevent a member from circumventing our online reservation system, we allow ourselves to read and analyze the messages exchanged on our platform to ensure that they do not include any contact information or references to other websites.
5.2. We never review your communications with other members of our community for promotional purposes or targeted advertising. Whenever possible, we use automated systems to moderate the messages transmitted between members on our platform, without any individual decision being made.

Subject to applicable law and with your consent where required, we may use the information you provide on our platform for marketing purposes, to send you newsletters, invitations to our events and any other content that might be of your interest. 7. Is your data transferred, how and where?
We generally store your personal information within the European Union. However, because some of our service providers are in countries outside the European Union (“Third Countries”), we may transfer some of your personal data to Third Countries.
